JM3

After waiting months in stark anticipation, I was thrilled to recently discover the JM3 tour coming the Eastward way. However, my little fingers aren't quick enough. Only two minutes after going on sale, my chances of attending another John Mayer concert were thwarted. Blast!

You called it, Marco. So I blame you.

Latest Trip to the Beach

As I may have suggested in the last post my cousin Kelly, her husband Larry, and their five children came to visit me for two days last week. I jumped ship on the job so I could spend a day with them on the Coast. No reason for them to trek halfway across the US and not experience a classic New England summer day. Here are some pictures from the event.

Looking Ahead

Jostlin "playful" is her name. She is two. In tune with everything that surrounds her mischievous charisma, she climbs, runs, and demands. Throughout her 36 hour visit she clearly exuded her powerful personality with pursed lips and bright eyes. Within an instant she could flash a look of disdain and hollar back with a firecracker "No!" as though she had earned such a right to do so. I looked on in wonder. How can someone so small, so innocent of the world we know, already have such an intricate, unconscious understanding of human nature? No one had to demand that she act alive. No one forces her to declare her two years of stubborness. She does a fine job on her own.

In this picture, Jostlin was frustrated. She wanted to be with her sister so badly. Naomi heard her little yelps of glee and beckoned Jostlin her way. But there were obstructions before her. Jostlin could not climb the boulders nor cross the crevices that were clearly causing her hesitation. She not only wanted to be where her sister stood, she needed her sister's help to get there.

So, I sit here pondering this image. Who in my life is struggling to keep up? Who is calling out to me for a hand to step forward? Do I know them well enough to hear them? Do I love them enough to go back and get them? How about you...

At a Loss for Words

I have officially reached the bane of my existence. Ironically, as this point in my life is disturbing for me it may prove to be a tranquil moment for every other person within my reach...

I don't know what to say.

That's it. I have not blogged in nearly two weeks and I have nothing to say about it. Much has happened. Perhaps too much has happened and that is my dilemma.

Maybe tomorrow it will come to me. Heck, maybe this afternoon my mind will explode with a plethora of writing material. But until then, you will just have to forgive me.
